Gallatin Arts Council

The Gallatin Arts Council sponsors an array of activities including Tellabration, a nationwide storytelling program. As part of the Tellabration program, the arts council also provides storytelling to day-care facilities and nursing homes. One of its major programs is the Symphony in the Schools, bringing music to Gallatin area students. Members of the Nashville Symphony present concerts that instruct school children about the various instruments of the symphony. The Gallatin Arts Council also sponsors the Gallatin Children’s Choir. It also collects used band instruments to be donated to school music programs and sponsors a scholarship for a Gallatin High student.
