Bongo After Hours Theatre has been Nashville's most intimate theatre venue for nearly 10 years operating above Nashville's oldest & most treasured coffeehouse Bongo Java. The theatre is dedicated to producing quality theatre, musical events , and classes and workshops from all facets of the community in an intimate setting that showcases local professional talent and guest artists. BAH has been named best theatre venue by the Nashville's Scene's Readers' poll.

      Due to the tragic loss of a production member, Miss Julie will not be presented as planned. However, Blood & Thunder will be providing a staged reading of this Masterpiece, along with a showcase of production elements, in celebration of both August Strindberg and the valuable work of the production team from this endeavor. This weekend! Saturday, March 12 @ 7:30 PM Sunday, March 13 @ 7:30 PM Tickets: Pay What You Can Approximate reading time: 90 min Miss Julie ignites an impassioned blaze between master and servant, man and woman in Strindberg’s dark exploration of sex, class, and power.       Having known Davy for over 20 years this suits him so well. Not only can he entertain with stories behind the songs but his playing is like nothing else that is out there. His style is not one to be pigeon holed into one genre. It crosses bridges where some dare not tread. Tonights set was a combination of his set list and also strayin away when friends ask for certain songs. Davy is laid back and really has no ego which makes him a cool cat to be around. Even in songs like "We gonna be some birds" (a silly little ditty that was inspired by a friends daughter)to the more serious "Motormouth" a song about a girlfriend who talks to much. He pulls off whatever he wants. Davy provides a break from the norm of today and when it is over all thats left to say is that was a really good show. You need not worry about who you bring from kids to adults Davy can entertain them all. Collapse
