Nashville Civic Design Center
Since 2000, the Nashville Civic Design Center, nonprofit organization, has sought to elevate the quality of Nashville's built environment and to promote public participation in the creation of a more beautiful and functional city for all. To accomplish this, the Nashville Civic Design Center offers lectures and classes on civic design, history and practice of urban design, and continuing education classes for design and development professionals in the fields of architecture, law, real estate and urban planning, and promotes the principles of the Plan of Nashville - a vision of growth and development, created and endorsed by the citizens of Nashville.
