Historic Bell Witch Cave
The story of the Bell family's violent tormenting by a malevolent entity in the early 1800's is one of the most famous ghost stories in the country. It is believed that a spirit poisoned patriarch John Bell before disappearing to a nearby cave, threatening to return in the future. Tours of the cave and a reconstructed Bell Cabin are offered several months out of the year, weather permitting. Hours: Labor Day-Halloween: Saturday-Sunday 10:00am-5:00pm; June-Labor Day: Wednesday-Monday 10:00am-5:00pm Price: $10/Cave Tours, $5/Cabin Tours
