Barbershop Harmony Society

The Barbershop Harmony Society was founded in 1938 and has grown to 30,000 members in more than 800 chapters in the United States and Canada. It is the world's largest all-male singing society.
Vision: To be the premier membership organization for men who love to sing.
Mission: The Barbershop Harmony Society brings men together in harmony and fellowship to enrich lives through singing.
The activities of the organization include the education of members and the general public in music appreciation, particularly barbershop singing. Charitable projects are offered on a local and national basis. The Youth in Harmony (Youth Outreach) program is designed to preserve the art form by introducing it to a new generation of singers. This 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization is governed by an elected board of directors and administered by a professional staff of 30 employees.
