Nashville Broncs

Nashville’s only professional basketball team, the Nashville Broncs an ABA expansion team, opens its first season in Nashville's Municipal Suditorium in November 2008. The Broncs season will consist of eighteen home and eighteen away games between November and March. Owner Scott Lumley states, "I have always wanted to own a professional basketball team and am thrilled to be able to bring the Broncs to Nashville." Broncs head basketball coach Jan van Breda Kolff is a well known name to basketball fans and Nashvillians having spent almost 15 years as a resident of Nashville as a star player and head coach at Vanderbilt.
