Things To Do in Nashville: September 24 – 30
Happy Autumn! Have you felt that crisp fall air or been on a pumpkin flavor kick the past few weeks? Well, folks it has officially arrived. Yesterday, September 23 was the first official day of Autumn and the Fall Equinox. I noticed more and more yesterday while at Trader Joe’s that it was now my favorite time of year: pumpkins outside for purchase, a whole shelf dedicated to cookies and crackers that were pumpkin flavored, and even the beer section is full of pumpkin ales. Not only is the weather just perfect, but I can “officially” enjoy football Saturdays while drinking an Oktoberfest beer outside without the hot summer heat. It’s the time of year where you decorate your front porch with haybales, ghords, and pumpkins to give it that perfect fall look, if you have a porch to decorate. If not, you might do a fun pumpkin carving with some friends or decorate small indoors. If you’re looking for pumpkins to pick with the fam, I suggest you check out this week’s Pumpkin Patch post.
I say all of this to say in this week’s list of Things to Do on the How To Play Nashville blog, you will find lots of Fall Festivals, Live Music outdoors, Food + Drink, Family Fun, Football and more to encourage you to go out and experience this beautiful, crisp, cool season! Now get outside and figure out Where to Go and What to Do:
P.S. Be on the lookout, we will have full Pilgrimage Festival (#MakethePilgrimage) coverage on the blog this weekend!
