About the artist:

Jodi Hays studied Foundations at School of Visual Arts before getting a Bachelors of Fine Art in Drawing from the University of Tennessse. She graduated from Vermont College where she worked with Allan DeSousa, Janet Kaplan, Sowon Kwon, Craig Stockwell, Christine Hiebert, among others. Her work has been shown at Barbara Krakow Gallery (Boston), the Cooper Union (NYC), Whistler House Museum of Art (Lowell, MA) and many other spaces nationally. She is a recipient of two Tennessee Arts Commission grants and pursues curating at Tennessee State University. You can currently view her work at The Drawing Center (New York).
