About the artist:

As a small child I was always drawn to be outside. Naturally curious, I brought home countless turtles, flowers, leaves, and an endless of array of treasure from my adventures. I still bring home an occasional object from my forays, but usually I bring home a fresh perspective on a painting project. I have traveled and lived in many places throughout the United States. I am drawn by the natural beauty of my surroundings. Whether it is a blue glass tumbler capturing the sunlight, or the lop-sided grin of a child. These are moments worthy of memory and the effort to capture by artistic expression. I started drawing and painting in response to a desire to share the gospel of Jesus Christ and God's love for man. Art Parables, Visions of His Word™ is the name that my contemporary Christian art is found under. The paintings are the images and concepts that the Lord has given me as I study His Word. I began painting in earnest while I was living in Maui, Hawaii. I also paint portraits of people and pets, landscapes, still life, and contemporary images.
