  Admission:

  $6/adults; $4/children 4-17 and seniors 62 and over; free/children under 4
  Admission includes access to all exhibitions as well as to the Parthenon’s upper level, graced by the colossal statue of the goddess Athena.

  Hours: Tuesday-Saturday - 9:00am-4:30pm. Summer months (June-August), add Sundays 12:30pm-4:30pm. The first Thursday of every month, the Parthenon is open until 7:00pm.

    Paul Lancaster: A World of His Own The Parthenon Paul Lancaster: A World of His Own Presented by The Parthenon at The Parthenon June 14-October 5, 2013 The Parthenon Museum is pleased to present the artwork of Tennessee native and self-taught artist, Paul Lancaster. For three decades Lancaster was the resident artist at Nashville’s Lyzon Gallery, where he produced paintings, collages, and engravings from his studio in the frame shop. The artist, now 83, still enjoys drawing in his small home studio. Over his long career Lancaster painted hundreds of nature-based fantasies, populated with images of the dark-eyed maidens,...
