    The Troutt Theater, located in the theatre complex on Belmont Boulevard,  is a 300-seat proscenium theatre named after former Belmont president and his wife, Bill and Carole Troutt. Equipped with state-of-the-art lighting and audio equipment the facility serves as a performance and teaching facility.  The Troutt Theater is the premier facility in Nashville and has been the stage of choice for productions by The Nashville Shakespeare Festival, The Actor’s Bridge Ensemble, The Nashville Children’s Theatre, The Nashville Ballet, The People’s Branch Theatre, Salama Ministries, Rejoice Ministries, and Orchestra Nashville. The Troutt Theatre is the home for the winter production of The Nashville Shakespeare Festival and The Actors Bridge/Belmont annual collaborative production. The theater complex also includes a black box theatre accommodating audiences up to 150 and a scene shop.
