Martha's at the Plantation

Martha Phelps Stamps opened her first restaurant, Martha's at the Plantation, in 2000. Located in the recently constructed visitor center of historic Belle Meade Plantation, the restaurant offers high vaulted ceilings which echo the architecture of the nearby carriage house, soft green walls over muted wainscoting, lots of windows, and a pretty patio garden that changes with the seasons. There’s a wonderful gift shop downstairs, and guests are free to roam the beautiful grounds of the plantation, or purchase tickets for a guided tour of the mansion.

The food is a showcase of Martha's signature style - a style indebted to fresh ingredients, local traditions, simple preparation, and elegant presentation.

At the backbone of the restaurant is a gracious hospitality, with service that’s both easy and sincere. Martha's is the perfect place to bring visitors, have an intimate lunch with friends, or impress your business clients.

Open seven days a week for lunch, with a fabulous brunch on Sundays, Martha's at the Plantation has quickly become Nashville’s restaurant landmark for true southern style.
