Morgan C. Allred

Morgan Christopher Allred is a mixed heritage Kansan that was born on an Army base in El Paso, TX. He has performed spoken word poetry for four years now and has been writing much longer. In Kansas, he was previously the host/organizer/promoter of 3 poetry related events: That Sound Downtown, Slambonanza and End Iron Rhymes, as well as host of the Access Television show, Froze In Poetic Prose. Here, in Nashville, he hosts Po'Boys & Poets every third Saturday at the Peach Cobbler Factory. Having performed all across Kansas, Missouri and now Tennessee he has been able to work and create with a multitude of artists and their respective mediums. His work in promotion/organization has allowed him to work directly with non-profits like NAACP (Salina), Equality Kansas, Concert Across America and Poetry Outloud as well as organize shows sponsored by Salina's Arts and Humanities.

Nerissa Aquino

Nerissa represents DancEast Workshop (DEW) as the DEW Coordinator of this outreach program and non-for-profit arm of DancEast Studios. A Nashville native, she grew up taking ballet and jazz under the late Wanda Lenk Walters, but found modern dance as her artistic movement-of-choice while in college at Elon University. Additionally, she learned the folk dances of her parent’s homeland, the Philippines, with the local Phil-Am Association; African dance while studying abroad in Ghana; and traditional dances of Kiribati as a U.S. Peace Corps Health Volunteer. In 2005, she joined City Ballet Theatre, a non-for-profit dance school in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. In 2007 back at home, the Vanderbilt Dance Program prepared her for performing opportunities as a guest dancer with local companies Blue Moves, Company Rose, Chinese Arts Alliance, and other roles for Nashville-based choreographers. She trained under Banning Bouldin and served as one of New Dialect’s first company members. Since June 2015, she has collaborated with the young DEW dancers to create a piece performed outdoors at Shelby Bottoms Nature Center. “Echoes of Vitality” is her first time directing and creating choreography with youth for a public event. She brings her experience working in social services and non-for-profits to her role at DancEast. Nerissa’s passion is to contribute to the possibilities of movement for anyone wishing to explore dance wellness through movement stretching from the dance studios out to the spaces found in nature. She hopes to engage people from all walks of life into such creative exploration and well-being.

Jerry Atnip

Jerry Atnip has a 41-year career as a commercial and fine art photographer. He began as Partner and Creative Director of an ad agency in Nashville as well as Director of its’ photography department. His images have been published in 40 countries, and since 2003, he’s held over 80 exhibitions and been presented with over 100 awards. He is also a teacher, workshop director, curator, juror and frequent lecturer. He is on the boards of several Arts & Photography organizations, including Atlanta Celebrates Photography festival and Slow Exposures Photofestival. His work has been collected by museums, corporate and private collectors and he is an Exhibiting Member of The National Arts Club in New York shere he maintains a studio. ArmaniDae Photography was founded in December 2010 by Philadelphia native Armani "Armani/Dae". Armani began dabbling in photography when he realized it was both fun and therapeutic to which it became his main hobby and now career. The business name derived from Armani's name and nickname "Dae" (pronounced Day) put together. Originally the name was ArmaniDae Inc Photography but was later shortened. ArmaniDae Photography (often shortened to ArmaniDae) has been featured and published in the newspaper, multiple websites, album covers and more. Continuing to progress in photography, Armani is constantly using his creative vision to spread awareness especially when collaborating with different organizations across the world, as well as sharing life's captured moments with you. Nancy Beardsley was a stay-at-home Mom when she found her passion for creativity. She has always loved any form of creativity and first started to paint in 1993 but did not pursue it fully at that time. She did a painting here and painting there until 2009 when a lovely friend of hers suggested she take a course or start painting again. It was that ever so soft nudge that got her going. Her art is at times abstract, spiritual. light, loving and simple and always happy. Her art is really a cross pollenization of all those things.

I started out on stage as an actor at age 4, began my musical skills at the same time. 5 years of classical piano training and advance musical theory. 5 years of classical and modern guitar training. National level competitive fencer and coach. Film School at the Nashville Film Institute for writing, and production. No formal training for photography though it is the same as film. I'm always looking for opportunities to teach, this is my biggest thing, I have a lot knowledge on a lot of things, but the only way it is useful is if I pass it on to other people.

My art shows of my paintings & photography have been in Lubbock, TX, Nashville, TN, and Memphis, TN. This past year I moved to Nashville and Did the Art walk with Colab Downtown. I'm passionate about Black and White Photography. The landscape, both natural and urban, is the basis of my art. With photography, I strive to capture the essence and spirit of the subject. I'm drawn to black and white because I enjoy the drama and emotion, the texture and power that only black and white images can portray. My work has been shown in art galleries in California, Texas, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Toronto, and Tennessee. Lisa Haddad

Lisa Haddad is a painter who lives in the Nashville area. She is a founding member of the Nashville Collage Collective, a creative arena for exploring mixed media techniques and ideas. She has worked with artists in the Pacific Northwest as well as in Nashville and finds collaboration to be a greatly enriching process. Lisa is a graduate of the University of California and has been involved in the education of adults and children both in Santa Barbara and in Nashville. Her paintings have been exhibited in Tennessee, Indiana, California, Italy and New Zealand. Collage elements have been playing a greater role in her most recent abstract works. As a photographer, Lisa is known for her low-light city scenes. Eric L Hansen's color images are deeply personal storyboards of his own connections to post-modern culture. Raised by the blue water in Port Huron, Michigan, I knew I wanted to be an Artist since about age 5. I graduated from the Savannah College of Art and Design with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Illustration and have lived in at least seven states across the U.S. and now live in Hendersonville, TN. My preferred subjects are Portraits, Comics and Children's Books, preferred mediums are Prismacolor Pencils, and Digital Painting. Many of my illustrations are combinations of the two.

John Jackson is contemporary, fine art painter. He is originally from New York City, where he graduated from the School of Visual Arts with a FIne Art degree in painting. He now calls Nashville his home. He is represented by The Rymer Gallery on 5th Avenue, Nashville. His main series, the "Technology Series", addresses how our culture is being funneled thru technology and how it affects the way we relate and communicate with each other.
