• 9/02-4/05: “Summer Thicket”, a spoken word/musical collaboration with Jason Stelluto, producer/engineer and Darrell Tibbs, percussion (Donna Summer), and Ariel Francis, featuring samples of Nature sounds and a variety of music-scapes designed to take the listener into the depths of a summer field.
• 6/30/02: Recording of “Memiel”, an original Spoken Word/Jazz collaboration, at the Sound Emporium, Nashville, TN. Memiel is an experimental love poem, mixing Spanish, French and English with wordplay. Composer Karl Straub translated Amy’s chart for the poem into a flowing but chaotic and playful score, evocative of Charles Mingus and Astor Piazolla. Available for free online at www.amyjackson.cc.
