Christine Dunn

Christine currently dances with Dance Theatre of Tennessee. Her initial training was with James Robey and Stacey Mahan at The Ridgefield Conservatory of Dance in Ridgefield, Connecticut. One of the highlights of her time there was dancing alongside American Ballet Theatre’s Corey Stearns in The Nutcracker. She attended numerous summer programs including The Rock School Summer Intensive, American Ballet Theatre’s Summer Intensive, The Ruffo Cholewa Workshop, and the Jazz Dance World Congress Workshop. Christine interned with the American Ballet Theatre as an Administrative Assistant in 2007 and in the Development Department at the Paul Taylor Dance Company in 2010. In May of 2011 she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Dance and Arts Administration from Butler University. Christine enjoyed performing roles in Sleeping Beauty, Swan Lake, Cinderella, Giselle, and The Nutcracker. Performing in George Balanchine’s Walpurgisnacht Ballet, The Midwinter Dance Festival, Student Choreography Showcase, and Senior Showcase have also been highlights to her Butler Ballet experience. Christine is looking forward to her second season with Dance Theatre of Tennessee.
