IAYAALIS Kali-Ma’at ELOAI has received praise and recognition from audiences of all music and art genres and continues to be a topic of media interest, which has featured her work in both local and national publications. The independent multi-talent IAYAALIS has worked professionally in the arts and entertainment industry for over two decades, creating a unique artistic style to merge “sensual physicality with deep spiritual insights and a distinctly feminine point of view,” as Michael McCall of The Nashville Scene quoted in 1997. Her unique style of progressive hip-hop, R & B, and spoken word music has awarded her the 1998 Nashville Music Awards nomination of Best Unsigned Artist as well as opportunities to perform in several music conferences, including the JIVE, BMI, and NEA showcases. IAYAALIS’ visual art has been displayed at prominent exhibitions at the Cheekwood Museum of Art, Watkins Institute College of Art and Design, and Nashville International Airport.
