Jennifer Bailey Murphy

Jennifer Bailey Murphy is a native Nashville artist. She loves to paint people and pet portraits magnificently capturing their personality in her work. Her non-commission art consists of whimsical animals, funny golf art and art embedded with semi- precious faceted gems which cast a glow when in the proper lighting. Her work is unique and she specializes in oil because she says, "I find it is a better venue of detail for an artist who is a perfectionist about the small features of a composition such as the eyes and expression." Frequently she works with Howard Wiggins and Vicki Donovan of Hearthstone Interiors to combine original art with room design. "Art should be the room focal point", Howard explains. The artist and designers combine wall color and custom furniture with her art in a way that makes the whole room creation a flowing, unique masterpiece.
