Joshua Scott Jones is an American singer/songwriter that has produced four solo albums in the last seven years. His music reflects a rootsy, country-rock style, which he contributes to with his skills on guitar, bass, banjo, harmonica, drums and piano/keyboard.
His debut album “The Healing” revolves around his ups and downs over the years, proving that music really can bring you to a place of reflection. Its hit single “Honk (If You’re Tonky)” has plenty of energy, grit and edge. The video pulls you onto the dance floor with its own choreographed line dance. A few years later the album was followed by “The Rural Deal”. Jones’ third album, “How the Story Goes” features single ‘Honky Tonk Night’, which spent time in video rotation on CMT Music. His latest is a stripped-down acoustic record entitled “Outlier Circa 1980.”
Prior to his solo career, he was one half of the country-music duo Steel Magnolia, where he gained recognition for the Top 10 Billboard Hot Country hit “Keep On Loving You”. During that time, the duo received various CMA nominations, and played the Grand Ole Opry. Jones’s style is constantly evolving, and as artists do, is working on future projects.
