Katie Gonzalez

Hello! I’m Katie Gonzalez, and I create meaningful handmade books every day in Nashville, Tennessee.

I first studied the art of bookmaking in Cortona, Italy, during the summer of 2006. Since founding linenlaid&felt handmade books in 2010, I have turned my passion for books into a full-time profession. I design and bind books in my studio in East Nashville, including one-of-a-kind journals, photo albums, guest books, baby books, and artist’s books. I teach bookbinding and graphic design classes, sell my work in local shops and galleries, and frequently exhibit at regional art shows.
