Loretta Kaufman

Loretta Kaufman has been working professionally as a sculptor and painter for 35 years. Since 1980 her work has been exhibited in over 85 group and 14 solo shows in the United States. Articles and reviews of Kaufman’s ceramics have appeared in Atlanta Art Papers, Boston Herald and Ceramics Monthly.  South Carolina ETV has produced several  monographs on Kaufman and her work.. Collections holding her work include Bank of America, London; Environmental Research Foundation, Washington; San Angelo Museum of Fine Arts, Texas; Westpoint Stevens, NYC. Kaufman has completed residencies  for the South Carolina Arts Commission and taught sculpture at Greenville County Museum of Art School. She is an Emeritus member (clay) in Piedmont Craftsmen, a national craft/arts group founded in 1963.
