Morgan Christopher Allred is a mixed heritage Kansan that was born on an Army base in El Paso, TX. He has performed spoken word poetry for four years now and has been writing much longer. In Kansas, he was previously the host/organizer/promoter of 3 poetry related events: That Sound Downtown, Slambonanza and End Iron Rhymes, as well as host of the Access Television show, Froze In Poetic Prose. Here, in Nashville, he hosts Po’Boys & Poets every third Saturday at the Peach Cobbler Factory. Having performed all across Kansas, Missouri and now Tennessee he has been able to work and create with a multitude of artists and their respective mediums. His work in promotion/organization has allowed him to work directly with non-profits like NAACP (Salina), Equality Kansas, Concert Across America and Poetry Outloud as well as organize shows sponsored by Salina’s Arts and Humanities.
