A self-professed “ancient soul in a modern body with a futuristic state of mind”, N’Digo Kali owes her passion for art, yoga, holistic wellness, and connecting people to their highest potential to her Colorado upbringing and her childhood fascination of learning about all things mystical, cultural, and environmental. From flipping through the pages of National Geographic, Essence, and nature magazines as a child, N’Digo’s affinity for indigenous cultures and world religions/philosophies has been the greatest influence on her creative pursuits as a life enrichment professional, artist, and yoga instructor.
As a self-taught artist, N’Digo has drawn and doodled for as long as she can remember. As a child, she was recognized for her artistic skill and had the honor of having her art work shown at the Colorado Springs Fine Arts museum in elementary school. Art became a therapeutic outlet for her in 2012 after her divorce, which inspired her to share spiritual concepts and influences through the use of art. Her medium of choice is chalk pastel, pencil and ink, and acrylic. Her work has been exhibited in a number of art shows and events in the Greater Nashville area. N’Digo uses her art as an external manifestation of the energetic forces that influence man and nature through the use of chromotherapy and inorganic shapes.
