Rachael McCampbell

Having lived abroad in Florence and London, then in New York and Los Angeles, it's nice to be back in my native Tennesse. I reside and paint outside of Nashville, in the country, where I live amidst the nature that inspires my work. I paint semi-abstracted paintings of horses and birds as well as figurative work too. Since moving back to Tennessee in 2008, I've had a solo show at the Parthenon Musuem entitled, "Women in Mythology," a solo show at Tinney Contemporary entitled, "Endangered Species, Nature in the Balance," which benefited the Land Trust for TN, and was the official Steeplechase artist for 2012 and had a show at Belle Meade Plantation called, "New Equine Art." I am currently painting for a show in Knoxville in May of 2014 at The District Gallery inspired by poetry, entitled "Dreamscapes." Thank you for supporting the arts!
