Sultry, soulful vocalist Tramaine Arte’Mis is becoming widely known for her tremendous range and expressive vocal talents. She is equally at home in musical theatre, opera, gospel, R&B, smooth jazz and neo soul. Her soaring, expressive voice hints at influences that range from Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald and Sarah Vaughn to Minnie Riperton, India Arie, Maysa and John Legend and so many more.
Born Tramaine Robinson in Knoxville, Tramaine Arte’Mis immersed herself in music as a child. Her first memories are of harmonizing with her talented family members and landing a solo performance at age three. She distinguished herself in church, high school and college choirs.
She was tapped to perform behind R&B recording artist Kem at the Schermerhorn Symphony Center for his 2013 Christmas tour and has been a mainstay of Neo Soul Lounge performances at various locations in and around Nashville such as The Frist Center. In 2016 Tramaine Arte’Mis had the pleasure of singing at The Jazz and Blues Festival in Nashville, TN and in recent made her first international appearance at the Sumerset Music City Jazz Festival with her band The Improv 7 Jazz Band.
Tramaine Arte’Mis recently released her single “Connected” which is now is available at CD Baby, ITunes, Google play, and Amazon Music and return to the studio, with plans to release a CD (EP) in the near future.
