Our very own Pat Embry (restaurant-guru in our office) compiled a list of restaurant openings for 2018 with anticipated opening dates. It included the East Coast burger chain Shake Shack and restaurateur Tom Morales’ homage to the Nashville Civil Rights Movement Woolworth on Fifth that topped the list of Nashville-area restaurants, bars and nightclubs set to open in 2018. View all the restaurants that opened in 2018.
Home to the Grand Ole Opry, many visitors travel to Nashville to see the show that made country music famous at the Grand Ole Opry House. The Grand Ole Opry House is not the original home to the Opry, that is the Ryman Auditorium. However, the Opry House includes a circle of the original flooring from the Ryman on the stage, which can be seen through the many backstage tours available at the Grand Ole Opry House.
The 2018 SEC Women’s Basketball Tournament was held at Bridgestone Arena on February 28 through March 4. South Carolina defeated Mississippi State to earn the league’s automatic bid to the 2018 NCAA Women’s Division Basketball Tournament.
Since Nashville the TV show came on air with ABC, we’ve had a page on our site that features events happening at the venues filmed on the TV Show.
