As more of us are working from home, our routines are all over the place, and it can be easy to feel a little stir crazy. That’s why we’ve put together a list of fun things to do at home to boost your mind, body & soul! We even came up with a Country Music Quaratunes Playlist so that you can enjoy Nashville-vibes from anywhere!
Below you’ll find our favorite healthy recipes, at home workouts, and the playlist!
As a mother-daughter that work from home most of the time, our routines really haven’t changed too much over the past few weeks. We realize we’re in the minority though, and there is something to be said about having a plan for the day. It just makes you feel better, right?
So if you’re struggling to find your mojo, check out our Morning Routine Ideas or Time Blocking tips to help you feel better every day.
For us, we love to include healthy recipes, at home workouts, and some fun at home each day, and we’re so excited to share those pieces of our routine with you!
Healthy Recipes with a Southern Twang
We’re both Nashville girls through and through, and while we like to eat healthy, we also are total foodies.
One of our favorite Southern recipes is Pimento Cheese!
Not only do we love it on crackers, but you can also make it in sandwiches!
If you’re not into pimentos, you may also really love a good chicken salad!
It’s perfect for this Spring weather and so versatile for picky eaters!
We also love a strawberry salad and sitting on a rooftop bar this time of year.
While our homemade version isn’t Sambuca’s, it’s pretty dang close! We’re trading the rooftop for some sunshine on our back deck these days.
Plus, you can use canned chicken or a rotisserie chicken for both our chicken salad and strawberry salad! So even if the grocery store is looking bare, you can probably find these ingredients!
We Bring the Gym to You With Free Home Workouts
During a stressful time is usually when we need our workouts the most. Just because gyms are closing, doesn’t mean you can’t get a really great workout at home!
If you’re looking for a fun workout that doesn’t require any equipment and that’s kid-friendly, look no further than Country Heat! It’s such a fun workout, and it’s inspired by line-dancing!
Now, if you’re a hardcore gym goer, you may be blowing off at home workouts too soon.

Finally, let’s nourish our soul with a great Country Quaratunes Playlist!
Kalee’s husband is amazing at remembering and knowing country music.
We’re calling this our “Country Music Quaratunes Playlist” because each song can relate to how each of us may be feeling during this time.
We hope it puts a smile on your face and a warmth in your soul like only country music can!
