In spring 2009 the long-vacant home of the beloved Hap Townes meat-and-three diner finally received a fresh coat of paint (among other things) and a fresh outlook on culinary life with Gabby’s Burgers & Fries. Owners Doug and Coreen Havron’s restaurant in the now steadily gentrifying Wedgewood-Houston neighborhood features grass-fed beef burgers, hot dogs, fries and shakes.
