Owned and operated by husband and wife team Nick and Audra Guidry, East Nashville’s long-awaited Pelican & Pig opened in January 2019 in a former auto upholstery shop and went on to be named 2019 Restaurant of the Year by Eater Nashville. The open kitchen and wood-burning hearth turn out seasonal wood-fired fare much as pork chops, lamb shank, grilled mushrooms and carrots, and braised rabbit and dumplings. Craft cocktails headline the bar menu.
