Green Hills stalwart Shalimar has introduced a generation or more of Nashvillians to well-prepared Indian food since its 1990 opening. It’s a small place, which adds to the intimacy. Many of Shalimar’s specialties are included in the popular, all-you-care-to-eat lunch buffet on Saturdays only. The parking lot is tiny out front but more spacious in the back. Live music 6-9:30 pm Sundays.
