Civil War Living History: 102d Illinois Volunteer Infantry Drill

A Civil War living history event at Historic Rose Mont, focusing on a Union regiment that was stationed in Gallatin, Tennessee, from 1862-1863.
For the first event of the season at Historic Rose Mont, re-enactors portray the 102d Illinois Volunteer Infantry Regment circa 1863 during the Civil War. The 102d garrisoned Gallatin from Nov. 26, 1862 to sometime in early June 1863 and operated in the area frequently. There will also be a large civilian presence in and around the house, artillery drills, and infantry drill demonstrations. The public is welcome to come and join the excitement!
