13th Annual Women's Work Festival

Tennessee Women’s Theater Project returns to the Looby Theater September 20th through October 6, with its 13th annual Women’s Work festival of performing and visual arts created by women.

Running Friday September 20th through Sunday October 6, Women’s Work Festival spans a wide range of styles and genres to offer a completely different program at every performance: poetry and storytelling, standup comedy, one-woman shows, readings of plays and musicals, dance, music, film and a display of art works in the theater.

Weekend Two

September 26, 7:30 pm – Theater for Young Audiences play reading: Captain Aurora, by Becky Wahlstrom. (Bring the youngsters!)

September 27, 7:30 pm – Theater/One-Woman Show: The MILF Also Rises, by Jen JoplinNOTE: THIS PERFORMANCE HAS BEEN CANCELLED UNEXPECTEDLY. WE HOPE TO RESCHEDULE FOR NEXT WEEK – STAY TUNED!

September 28, 7:30 pm – Theater/One-Woman Show: The Vicious Hillbilly or Dating in the Deep South, by Dawn Larsen.

September 29, 2:30 pm – Storytelling/poetry/singing: From the Page and From the Strings, by Dana Malone and Amelia White.
