Nashville Zoo’s annual spring celebration, Eggstravaganzoo, is back with egg hunts and Easter treats for children of all ages. Activities during the day include 10 scheduled egg hunts for kids, a Zoo-wide hunt for golden eggs, spring-themed games, bounce houses and face painting. Special appearances by the Easter Bunny and Zoo mascot Twiga!
New this year – Twiga’s Sweet Stroll. Wander through a candy-themed wonderland complete with costume characters, edible bubbles, and photo opportunities. Included in admission, donations toward conservation efforts appreciated.
Not only the children get to have all the fun, the animals will have an Egg Hunt as well with keeper talks and much more. Click here for that list.
Egg Hunts
Nashville Zoo will be distributing over 30,000 plastic eggs for children to find and redeem for prizes. Because these egg hunts are about having fun and going wild and not about the number of eggs collected, ALL egg-hunting children will receive an egg-cellent prize pack.
Egg hunts will take place on the Zoo's Festival Field, located behind the gift shop. Everyone is encouraged to arrive at least an hour before the egg hunt times. No reservations are required for egg hunts.
