6th Annual Tennessee History Trail

Walk through a historical timeline from the years 1500 to 1800 with heritage interpreters from the Middle Tennessee History Coalition at the Tennessee History Trail!

Skilled heritage interpreters from the Middle Tennessee History Coalition guide visitors into the past at the Tennessee History Trail at Bledsoe Creek State Park! Walk through a historical timeline that includes chatting with French fur traders and experiencing the hardships of life as a colonial settler. Interpretive subjects include Mississippian Indians, Hernando De Soto, a frontier trade cabin, post-European contact Woodland Indian hunting camp, long hunter camp, and early Cumberland settlements. Partake in tomahawk throwing and observe black powder musket demonstrations in the outdoor museum!
