A Cappella Singers, University Singers & Chamber Orchestra concert

Lipscomb’s choral ensembles and orchestra will present Felix Mendelssohn’s Hymn of Praise. Faculty soprano soloists Jean Miller and Patricia Roberts will be joined by tenor soloist David Walton, a Nashville native who recently left the Cantus professional vocal ensemble to pursue a solo career. The piece begins with a three-movement symphony which will be conducted by Dr. Stephen L. Rhodes. The rest of the piece is a sacred cantata and will be conducted by Dr. Gary P. Wilson.
