Celebrate Independence Day at Andrew Jackson’s Hermitage!

Living History – Revolutionary Roots

Along the pathway to the Cabin-by-the-Spring

Talk with a Revolutionary-Era militia man who fought against the British in the Southern Backcountry and learn how the struggles and ideals shaped Andrew Jackson’s life.

Reading of the Declaration of Independence

Gather on the Mansion front lawn for a reading of the Declaration of Independence from the President’s balcony.


The crowd favorite, KONA Ice, will also be on site serving up fun Hawaiian-style shaved ice!

And don’t forget to stop by the Natchez Hills Winery Tasting Room. They are offering multiple specials all weekend long!
