Amanda Torp and Friends

Her ambition and desire to forge a career as an artist led Amanda to Nashville, TN. She studied music at Belmont University earning her degree in Songwriting. Her hard work has begun paying off. Since graduating, Amanda has had the opportunity to work with some of Nashville and Los Angeles’ most prolific songwriters. “When I’m writing, I’m not really thinking about if the song is going to be a hit or not. I write, because I want to lose myself in the song. I want to be relatable with my listeners and say something in a way that it hasn’t been said before. My songs have all have a dramatic side to them; whether it’s a darker, sadder song or a song that’s a big anthem with a heavy beat, and I think that’s what keeps it fun…and that’s what makes it me.” Amanda is currently in the studio recording an EP.
