Monthaven Arts and Cultural Center, in collaboration with CreatiVets, is proud to host for the second consecutive year the American Veterans Art Show, a free exhibit highlighting the artworks of American combat veterans.
Monthaven Arts and Cultural Center, in collaboration with CreatiVets, is proud to present, I Didn’t Know How to Tell You, American Veterans Art Show. This powerful exhibition showcases the art of American Combat Veterans who have turned to art, music, and creative writing to heal their unseen wounds of war and honors Veterans who have suffered from Traumatic Brain Injuries (TBI) and/or Post Traumatic Stress (PTS). Through CreatiVets’ programs, Veterans learn to use art and music as a form of stress and anxiety relief enabling the veteran to tell his or her story in a way that promotes healing.
