Artful Tales: The Goose Girl

Presented by Frist Art Museum at Frist Art Museum, Nashville TN

Sep 20 2015
Artful Tales: The Goose Girl

Enjoy this FREE family program, geared toward everyone ages three and up! Listen and play along as an art-related story comes to life. Then, head upstairs to the studios and make an artwork inspired by the story.

Enjoy a classic fairy tale about a princess’s journey from sweet but helpless girl to wise and courageous young woman—one who understands the nature of hard work and demonstrates a deep love for others. Afterward, create a collage to commemorate your favorite pet or animal. This program complements the exhibition Postcards of the Wiener Werkstätte: Selections from the Leonard A. Lauder Collection, which features scenes from several children’s stories.
