Asymmetric Kin | Istanbul and Nashville Collaboration with Seed Space

COOP Curatorial Collective (Nashville) in collaboration with Creative Çukurcuma (Istanbul) and with support of Seed Space is happy to present the Asymmetric Kin Project with Michael Dickins, Kristi Hargrove, Jana Harper, Erdal İnci, Jonathan Rattner, Ayşegül Süter, and Bahar Yürükoğlu, curated by Paul Collins, Naz Cuguoğlu, Mine Kaplangı, and Jonathan Rattner, which pairs artists each from Nashville and Istanbul in a six-­month collaborative relationship and explores the effect of political and sociological “asymmetric” dynamics on artistic practices and collaborations.

There will be a panel discussion Wednesday, Oct. 12, 6pm, at The Curb Center at Vanderbilt. Drinks and refreshments will be provided.

Note: This exhibition takes place at two galleries, Seed Space and Coop.  The Panel Discussion takes place at The Curb Center at Vanderbilt.
