Bonner Black & Friends

A week before her 14th birthday, Bonner Black convinced her parents to take her to Nashville to visit vocal coach, Jamie Wigginton. When he discovered her songwriting abilities, he sent her to NSAI (Nashville Songwriters Association). Bonner joined NSAI and began missing ballet classes to attend songwriting workshops, more vocal lessons, and meetings. Bart Herbison, the director of NSAI, took her under his wing and at 15 she resigned from her Senior Company position at The Academy Of Classic Arts and began working on her music full time. She now has written hundreds of songs, released an album, continues to co-write with hit songwriters, and plays all over Nashville including the famous Bluebird Cafe. She now lives in Nashville and is chasing her dream.
