Campology: Wetland Planeteers
All year long when school is out, CAMPOLOGY is in!
Discovery Center camps incorporate play and hands-on inquiry-based learning into each and every day. Campers experience STEAM-focused lessons packed with innovative games, projects, and activities, all designed to help kids learn, socialize, and have fun!
Each camp offers an opportunity for exploration of museum exhibits and outdoor play, weather permitting. Throughout the school year, CAMPOLOGY is available during special school holidays, offered as one-day camps, and is also available as week-long day camp sessions during fall and spring breaks. When school’s out for summer, Discovery Center offers multiple week-long day camp sessions. Visit here for more details about each of the CAMPOLOGY offerings.
Available for Pre-K through 5th grade.
June 14 – 18 & July 19 – 23
Captain Planet is coming to visit the Murfree Spring wetlands, and needs your help! Can you be an environmental hero and help save the wetlands? Campers will spend the week learning about different sources of renewable energy and get a chance to explore the wetlands with creek stomps, habitat exploration walks, and more.
A STATEMENT FROM DISCOVERY CENTER: Our number one goal is small group safety, and we require that all campers and staff wear masks and practice social distancing. All camps operate at a limited capacity, utilizing cohorts of a maximum 1:15 ratio of counselors to campers. In the event of extended closures or cancellations due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we will refund 100% of any camp registration fees.
