Singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Cassidy Daniels was born an army brat in Asheville, North Carolina. She and her family endured hardships growing up in a post 9/11 active duty environment and had to relocate 14 times, as her father served 27 years in Special Forces.
Though it was tough growing up in a military family, Cassidy found her solace in music. Her friends and family quickly discovered that she was a musical prodigy after she wrote her first song on piano, “Beautiful Day” about finding positivity at home when her father was deployed in Iraq. In a few short years, she picked up guitar. Cassidy soon began to master her favorite instruments and has written and co-written hundreds of songs with some of Nashville’s top tier songwriters.
With the solid support of her family and with a persevering spirit, Cassidy began performing live; gracing stages from New York to Los Angeles to Nashville and garnering the attention of the music industry along the way. Her love for old school rock and roll and southern roots brought her to Johnny Van Zant of Lynyrd Skynyrd, who became one of her first mentors. Cassidy has shared the stage with artists such as Hunter Hayes, Trace Adkins, Craig Morgan, Chris Janson, Tyler Farr, Cole Swindell, The Marshall Tucker Band, The Little River Band, Chris Lane, and many more.
In 2015 Cassidy starred in METAL A Post Apocalyptic Concert Event as Meridian, a troubled teen making her way through Armageddon. On the opening night, Cassidy jammed with LA Guns and Quiet Riot; Later the same night she sang alongside of Kip Winger and played guitar and belted “Kiss Me Deadly” with Lita Ford.
Cassidy’s catalog of original songs continues to grow and she continues to tour with her electric live performances around the country.
