Ceramics: Intermediate/Advanced Wheel Throwing

Take your passion for ceramics deeper through this course designed for students with a basic knowledge of wheel throwing. This semi open-studio format course will cover more advanced wheel throwing techniques, incorporate some hand-building techniques with thrown pieces, and inspire students to combine different techniques to create larger, more complex forms. The instructor will demonstrate different projects designed to teach students new skills and to refine their existing skills. Pieces will be kiln-fired and glazed, painted, or stained.  Clay and glazes are included, but students should bring their own set of clay tools.
