Chinese New Year Celebration: Year of the Rabbit

Chinese Arts Alliance of Nashville (CAAN)

Celebrate the Chinese Rabbit New Year 

The event features live-performances that include dancing, singing, drumming, and professional musicians.

Puppet Truck

Nashville Chinese Schools will hold a Chinese Knotting workshop

CAAN’s lion dancers, dragon dancers, and Chinese dancers will perform

Nashville Ballet’s Education Department’s Teaching Artist will lead a Movement Exploration

Frist Art Museum will hold an art making project

Asian food trucks will be on site

Before the performance, you can enjoy arts & crafts, Chinese naming, face painting, a Tai Chi workshop, Tangram puzzles, and a Chinese Ground Calligraphy demonstration.

Optional: Wear your favorite Rabbit character costume, Chinese outfit from ancient to present, or wear red outfits for good luck.

Happy Chinese New Year of the Rabbit.
