Coffee and Conversations: Pride and Prejudice

Street Works celebrates Pride Month with the second virtual installment of the organization’s Coffee and Conversations series, bringing community members together around the theme ‘Pride and Prejudice.’ The monthly discussion series launched this year to spotlight difficult topics and complex issues within the Nashville community and provide a safe space to share diverse perspectives.

The event’s guest speaker, Catherine Wyatt-Morley is the founder and CEO of Women On Maintaining Education and Nutrition (W.O.M.E.N.), a nonprofit service organization serving the at-risk and HIV-positive community. Wyatt-Morley is the author of AIDS Memoir: Journal of an HIV-Positive Mother, Positive People Combating HIV/AIDS, My Life With AIDS: Tragedy to Triumph, and I Am The Product of Rape-A Memoir.
