Dead Trees and Dirty Leaves

Dead Trees and Dirty Leaves is the first duo show for married couple Jeff and Myka Bertrand, who are both in love with history, especially of the local variety. They wanted to bring a show together that would have viewers navigate their way through Tennessee’s scary side and explore ideas such as the largest train fatality in U.S. history (which just so happened to take place in Nashville).

Myka will be writing short stories based on unusual folklore that exists in our region. Jeff will be bringing the stories to life, lending a dark and mysterious air to his paintings. This show will be displayed in a way that will make the viewer feel as though they are walking through a storybook filled with the creepy side of folklore.
