Digging In: Go Greens!
Digging In: Go Greens! is for garden, plant and healthy food enthusiasts—and those that love learning. Collards, turnips and mustard greens were commonly grown on plantations in Tennessee and across the Southeast in the 19th century. Today, these vegetables are often overlooked in fall and winter gardens. Join Historic Garden Manager Bradley Roberts to learn about the history of these plants and their culinary, ornamental and medicinal use. This presentation will offer a wider discussion on fall and winter vegetable gardening.
