On August 21, 2017, White House, Tennessee, will experience a total solar eclipse with a duration of 2 minutes 39 seconds one of the longest periods of totality in Tennessee.
It has been almost 500 years since this area has experienced a total solar eclipse and will be nearly 500 more before totality is experienced in White House. The White House Area Chamber of Commerce and City of White House will host an eclipse viewing event at the Soccer Complex. Plans are still being finalized. To date attendees can expect live feeds from NASA, food trucks, music and more. #discovertotality
