Disney's The Little Mermaid

Presented by Bravo Creative Arts Center at Father Ryan High School, Nashville TN

Disney's The Little Mermaid

In a magical underwater kingdom, young mermaid Ariel, longs to leave her ocean home — and her fins — behind and live in the human world above!

Based on the classic animated film and one of Hans Christian Andersen’s most beloved stories, Disney’s The Little Mermaid is a fantastic production for our return to the magic of live theatre!

In the underwater kingdom of Atlantica, home to Merfolk and creatures of the deep, Ariel longs to live in the world above…but  first she’ll have to defy her father King Triton, make a deal with the wicked Ursula, and convince the handsome Prince Eric that she’s the girl whose enchanting voice he’s been seeking!

With music by eight-time Academy Award winner Alan Menken, lyrics by Howard Ashman and Glenn Slater, and a compelling book by Doug Wright, this fishy fable is sure to bring a smile with tap dancing seagulls, fantastic sea creatures, and famous songs from some of the most popular characters of all time…Ariel’s Part of Your World, Sebastian’s Kiss the Girl & Under the Sea, Chef Louis’ Les Poissons, Ursula’s Poor Unfortunate Soul as well as numbers written for the stage… She’s In Love, Positoovity, Sweet Child, Her Voice, If Only, and more!

The talented teens and children of Bravo Creative Arts are excited to bring this full scale musical to the stage!
