Dustin Herring was born and raised in the small town of Hartford in Alabama. He started playing guitar and singing songs while in college. He then moved to the Mississippi Delta where immersed him self in performing and songwriting.

In 2012 he was named the winner of the Texaco Country Showdown songwriter competition. Dustin now lives in Nashville and has been here since the summer of 2014. In the short time he has already released two EPs the most recent entitled Geneva County.
