Loretta Lynn’s creative endeavors are not limited singing and songwriting; she is also known for her sewing and clothing designs. When her children were young, she made all of their clothes, and she even made her early stage costumes. Finding inspiration from Lynn and her designs on view in Loretta Lynn: Blue Kentucky Girl, participants in this workshop will learn sewing basics then create their own fabric bookmark on a sewing machine. All skill levels welcome. Instructors will provide guidance. Presented in support of the exhibit Loretta Lynn: Blue Kentucky Girl.
Ages 6 and up. Limited seating. Taylor Swift Education Center.
